IAF selection test for airmen
Bhopal, May 3 (UNI) The IAF will be conducting a selection test for Group X (Technical) Trades for selection of airmen in August and September.
''The test will take place at the Airmen Selection Centre, Bhopal,'' the Centre's Commanding Officer Wing Commander Ashutosh Chaturvedi said in a release issued here today.
Men from Madhya Pradesh and Chhattisgarh, born between January 1, 1987 and February 28, 1991 -- both days inclusive -- and having passed the intermediate/higher secondary/equivalent examination with Mathematics and Physics with minimum aggregate 50 per cent marks or passed a three-year diploma course in Engineering (Mechanical, Electrical, Automobile, Computer Science, Instrumentation Technology or Information Technology) with at least 50 per cent marks from a government-recognised polytechnic institute are eligible to apply.

The last date of receipt of applications at the Central Airmen Selection Board (CASB), New Delhi, is May 20. Applications should be sent to the President, CASB, IAF through ordinary post only, the release added.
