HCL Tech joins Windows Vista ACF
New Delhi, May 3 (UNI) Software exporter HCL Technologies Ltd today joined the Windows Vista Application Compatibility Factory (ACF), enabling the company with a quicker return on investment.
''ACF will help customers more clearly define the roadmap for their IT infrastructures, providing them with the dual benefit of predictability and efficiency, while also mitigating the risks of migration,'' said HCL America President Shami Khorana.
The ACF will help the enterprises in assessing and remediate their existing applications to help ensure Windows Vista compatibility and accelerate rollout.
In addition to producing a documented application inventory and reducing the complexity of migration to Windows Vista, the ACF will provide significant cost savings in a desktop deployment project and shorten the deployment lifecycle.
As a result of our strong collaboration with Microsoft, we are pleased to be able to offer best-in-class solutions and support to help drive business transformation within enterprises around the world, Mr Khorana added.
