Gulbarga records highest temperature 41.8 degree celsius
Bangalore, May 3 (UNI) Following is a summary of observations recorded by the weather office at 0830 hours today.
Rainfall occurred at isolated places over Coastal Karnataka and South Interior Karnataka. Dry weather prevailed over North Interior Karnataka.
Chief amounts of Rainfall (cm): T Narsipura, Chamarajnagara 4 each, Ponampet, Hassan, Hunsur, Kollegal, Devanahalli 1 each.
Maximum temperatures appreciably fell at a few places over South Interior Karnataka and changed little over Coastal Karnataka and North Interior Karnataka. They were above normal at many places over North Interior Karnataka; appreciably above normal at a few places over Coastal Karnataka and were normal over South Interior Karnataka.
Gulbarga recorded highest maximum temperature of 41.8 degree Celsius over the State.
Forecast valid until Saturday morning: Rain/thundershowers likely to occur at a few places over Coastal Karnataka and South Interior Karnataka and at isolated places over North Interior Karnataka.
