Four killed, 7 injured in sugar mill incident

Lucknow, May 3 (UNI) At least 4 people were killed and over 7 injured when a wall of a newly constructed private sugar mill collapsed this morning at Maksoodapur area under Banda police station in Shahjahanpur district.

Police sources said the incident occurred when an iron angle of the under-construction building of the sugar mill collapsed at on the Pilibhit- Shahjahanpur border.

All the seven injured have been referred to Bareilly.

Earlier, it was reported that eight people were killed in the incident.

Meanwhile, irate villagers protesting the incident, torched a vehicle of the sugar mill.
