BSP MLA sent to jail

Ferozabad, May 3 (UNI) Bahujan Samaj Party (BSP) Tundla MLA Mohan Dev Shankhwar was today sent to judicial custody in a seven-year-old case here.

According to prosecution, a case was registered against him in 2000 for staging an anti-police protest in Ganesh Nagar area and indulging in violence.

The BSP MLA was arrested after he failed to appear in the court for hearings. He was presented before the court, which sent him to judicial custody.
