5 killed, 25 injured as bus hits tree

Solapur May 3 (UNI) Five people, including two women, were killed and 25 others injured when a Maharashtra State Road Transport Corporation (MSRTC) bus dashed against a tree at Narayan Chinchwadi village, near the pilgrim town of Pandarpur today.

Solapur Rural Police Control Room said the bus was on its way to Kolhapur when incident took place this afternoon.

All the injured were shifted to the Government Hospital here, police said.
