Thirtyfive people taken ill after eating Byriani

Bangaon, May 2 (UNI) About 35 people including 15 children, mostly labourers and their wards of a bricklin, were taken ill after eating stale food at Jaypur in North 24-Pargana's Bongaon town yesterday, police said today.

Most of the victims complained of vomiting and stomach ache after eating Biriyani, hospital sources said.

Police said the labourers had collected the stuff from a local lodge, which had organised a social gathering on April 30 night, sources added.

All the patients were recovering fast.
