Rainfall in many places in Karnataka
Bangalore, May 2 (UNI) Following is the summary of observations record in weather office here 0830 hrs today.
Rainfall occurred at many places over South Interior Karnataka and at isolated places over North Interior Karnataka. Dry weather prevailed over Coastal Karnataka.
Chief amounts of Rainfall (cm) : Kadur 5, Sindhanur, Bhagamandala, Ajjampura, Mysore, Nelamanagala 4 each, Nanjangud, T Narsipura, Chitradurga, Sira 2 each, Chamarajnagara, Kudligi and Davanagere 2 each, Madikeri, Shivani, Hegati, Hassan, Hunsur, H D Kote, Srirangapatna, Bangalore City, Koratagere 1 each.
Maximum temperatures fell at many places over Coastal Karnataka and changed little over Interior Karnataka. They were above normal at many places being appreciably so at a few places over Coastal Karnataka, above normal at many places over South Interior Karnataka and were normal over North Interior Karnataka.
Raichur recorded highest maximum temperature of 43 degree Celsius over the State.
Forecast valid until Friday morning: Rain/thundershowers likely to occur at isolated places over the State.
Farmers Weather Bulletin: Light to moderate rain likely to occur at isolated places over all the districts of the State.
No significant change is expected over the State.
Forecast for Bangalore city: Partly cloudy. Rain/thunder showers likely towards evening/night. Maximum temperature would be around 35 degree celsius.
