Passenger held for creating nuisance on board flight

Chennai, May 2 (UNI) Airport police at Anna International Airport today arrested a 54-year-old air passenger, for allegedly creating nuisance on board the Sharjah-Chennai Air Arabia flight in an inebriated condition.

Police said the arrested, M Zaheer Husaai of Kollidam in Nagapattinam district, who boarded the flight in Sharjah, started creating nuisance in the plane after the flight took off.

He refused to listen to the crew members, who requested him to fasten the seat belt when the flight was landing.

Later, he was handed over to the police and was remanded to judicial custody.
