Operation Ashwamegh underway in Rajasthan
Bikaner, May 2 (UNI) 'Ashwamegh' -- one of Indian Army's biggest military exercises -- is underway in Rajasthan to test the force's preparedness for network-centric warfare.
Brigadier Amarjeet Singh told newspersons that the exercise was undertaken to hone the skills in surveillance and space management technologies.
T 90 and T 72 tanks, BMP-11, Night Vision devices and UAVs are being used in the exercise. Operation Ashwamegh began on April 24 and will conclude tomorrow.
