One killed, 17 injured in road accident

Latehar, May 2 (UNI) One person was killed and 17 others of a marriage party were injured in a road accident in this district of Jharkhand today.

The vehicle, carrying passengers from bride's side lost control on Ranchi-Daltonganj (NH-75) road near Menonite mission.

Nabaljit Prasad, the critically injured, was rushed to the hospital where he was declared dead. The bride and four other women were among the seventeen injured.

Police said the injured were admitted to the hospital at Chandwa and eight of them were sent to Rajendra Institute of Medical Science at Ranchi for treatment.
