Minor raped, accused arrested

New Delhi, May 2 (UNI) A seven-year-old girl was allegedly raped by her neighbour in Samaypur Badli area of North-West Delhi, while her parents were away.

Accused Dharmendra (22), a private electrician, was arrested today morning after medical reports confirmed the rape, said the police.

The mother of the victim, who lives in Sanjay Camp area in Samaypur Badli, had gone to her village and father, a factory worker, was on duty when the incident took place last light, said sources.

The victim was medically examined at Ambedkar Hospital.

Dharmendra, who is married and has a son, was a neighbour of the victim. His wife had gone to her parents house.
