Heavy rain in Gulbarga District

Gulbarga, May 2 (UNI) Heavy rain, accompanied with thunder, lashed the city bringing some respite to the people who were suffering from heat wave condition with mercury touching 42 degree celsus.

Rainfall was also reported in many parts of the District.

People were experiencing severe heat condition for the last 10 days and the roads wore desert look during the day time as people prefered to remain indoor instead of venturing into hot sun.
