Heavy rain brings down temperature in Gulbarga

Gulbarga, May 2 (UNI) Heavy rain, accompanied by thunder, lashed the city today bringing some respite to the people, who were suffering from heat wave conditions with the mercury touching 42 degree celsius.

Rainfall was reported in many parts of the district.

People were reeling under severe heat for the last ten days. The roads bore a deserted look as people preferred to stay indoor instead of venturing out.
