Heat wave conditions in MP

Bhopal, May 2 (UNI) Heat wave conditions prevailed in Bhopal, Ujjain and Hoshangabad divisions in western Madhya Pradesh with many areas sizzling at 45 degree Celsius, the weather office said today.

Blistering heat swept many areas in western part of the state in the past 24 hours, while dry conditions prevailed in rest of the state.

Hoshangabad, Sheopurkalan, Shajapur and Rajgarh recorded a high of 45 degree Celsius, the Meteorological office spokesman said.

The weather office forecast thunder showers or isolated rains at a few places across the state in the next 24 hours.

One person died of sun-stroke in Sheopur district last week.
