HC orders release of Sabina on bail

Chandigarh, May 2 (UNI) The Punjab and Haryana High Court today granted bail to Sabina, the main accused in the much-publicised sex scandal that had rocked Jammu and Kashmir last year.

Justice Suryakant ordered Sabina's release on bail.

Several people, including former ministers and senior bureaucrats, were allegedly involved in the racket.

Almost all the accused have been enlarged on bail in the case which was transferred here on the orders of the Supreme Court.

The apex court had entrusted the case's probe to the CBI which has already filed the chargesheet in the court of its special judge here.
