HC orders release of Sabina Begum on bail

Chandigarh, May 2 (UNI) Punjab and Haryana High Court Justice Suryakant today ordered the release on bail of Sabina Begum, the key accused in the infamous Jammu and Kashmir sex scandal case, in which a number of persons, including bureucrats and politicians, were involved, and her husband Abdul Habibullah.

With this, almost all the accused have been enlarged on bail in the case which was transferred here on orders of the Supreme Court.

The apex court had entrusted the probe into the case to CBI which had alreadfy filed the challan in the court of special judge,CBI, here.
