Gadkari raises objection on ignoring seniority for CS
Mumbai, May 2 (UNI) Maharashtra BJP president Nitin Gadkari today criticised the Congress-NCP government in the state for ignoring atleast three senior officers, including Rani Jadhav, for the post of chief secretary.
In a release here, Mr Gadkari said Ms Jadhav is from Scheduled Caste (SC) category and besides her, Ms Chitkala Zutshi and A P Sinha are also senior to Mr Johny Joseph. But ignoring their seniority, the state government preferred to appoint Mr Joseph as chief secretary.
Mr Gadkari said while ignoring the claim of Ms Jadhav, the state government has done injustice to a competent senior woman SC officer.
He alleged that both Congress and the NCP use SC as their vote bank but hardly give them any opportunity.
