Friends remember S N Rao
New Delhi, May 2 (UNI) Friends and family of veteran trade unionist Sanjeeva Narayana Rao today remembered him at a prayer meeting at his South Delhi residence.
The veteran journalist and freedom fighter passed away at a private hospital here on Sunday. He was 83.
He is survived by his wife Prabha Rao and foster son Rohit Chadha.
His body was donated to the Maulana Azad Medical College as per his last wishes.
Mr Rao worked as journalist for various trade union publications such as Indian Worker published by INTUC. He was a multi-faceted personality and called a ''think tank'' in several trade union publications.
He served in various capacities in numerous voluntary organistions like the World Assembly of the Youth and Bharat Krishak Samaj.
