Former AP Chief Secretary no more

Hyderabad, May 2 (UNI) Former Andhra Pradesh Chief Secretary V P Rama Rao today breathed his last after a brief illness at his house in the city.

Mr Rao, belonging to the 1955 IAS batch, is survived by his wife and three sons. He retired as the State Chief Secretary in 1991.

The official had served the state in different capacities.

Chief Minister Y S Rajasekhara Reddy mourned Mr Rao's death and expressed his sympathies to the bereaved family.
