Five killed, 32 injured in road accident

Kadapa, Andhra Pradesh, May 2 (UNI) Five people, including a woman, were killed and 32 others injured when a lorry in which they were travelling hit a tree near Chidvelu and Rapur ghat road in this district today.

Police said the lorry hit the tree after the driver lost control.

Three persons were killed on the spot and two others succumbed to injuries on way to the hospital.

The injured were admitted to the government hospital in Kadapa and Tirupati, police added.
