Dassault Systems launch 3DLive for online collaborative intelligence

Bangalore, May 2 (UNI) Dassault Systems (DS), a world leader in 3D Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) solutions, today announced the availability of '3DLive' collaborative intelligence solutions to maximise interaction, improve decision making and accelerate innovation.

The software product leveraged the full power of real-time 3D through an intuitive user interface to search, navigate and collaborate online, which put product intellectual property (IP) at the fingertips in PLM activities, Mr Andy Kalambi, company Vice-President and General Manager (Asia), said today.

Speaking from Singapore through a live interactive session at the company's facility here, he said the new product would put all stakeholders on the same page, using 3D as a universal media through which they could work together, accelerate decision making and drive innovation.

''With 3DLive, DS is introducing its next generation of online 3D applications which will use 3D as a powerful online media to expand collaborative product innovation communities,'' he added.

The new product enabled users to conceptualise, develop and deliver products in a shared environment over the web. This would help customers seeking an advantage in the fast-paced and ultra competitive markets where they do business, Mr Dominique Florack, Senior Executive and VP, Product - R and D, DS, said in a message.

3DLive would be distributed through global IT major IBM.
