CPM to hold seminar on Sachar report on May 2

Mumbai, May 2: The state unit of the CPM will hold a seminar on the recommendations of Justice Rajendra Sachar Committee report here tomorrow.

The CPM wants implementation of the recommendations for overall development of minorities, especially education and jobs in Maharashtra, a party press release here said.

Mumbai CPM secretary Mahendra Singh said in the release that the seminar is being held in accordance to the March 30 directives of the party's central leadership.

The seminar will be inaugurated by J&K legislator Mohammed Yusuf Tarigami. CPM Maharashtra unit secretary Dr Ashok Dhavale will discuss minority-related issues in the state.
