Couple run over by train

Pratapgarh, May 2 (UNI) A couple died when they were run over by a train in the Raniganj area of this district, police said.

CRPF jawan Rakesh (22) and his wife Seema were on their way to Ampur Berra village yesterday evening when they were runover by an Inter-city Express, while, passing an unmanned railway crossing.

They were travelling in a motorcycle and died on the spot.

A case has been registered.
