Central Jail Chief caught taking bribe

Mysore, May 2 (UNI) The Chief Superintendent of Mysore Central Jail was caught read handed by Lok Ayukta Police, while taking bribe from a medical distributer here today.

Lok Ayukta SP Vidyasagar said in a release that the Jail Chief Superintendent M S Suresh Babu had sought Rs 32000 from the medical distributer, who had been supplying the medicines to the jail through Janata Bazar, to settle the bill amounting to Rs 1.75 lakhs.

Following a raid the official was caught read handed while accepting the bribe.
