Abducted Mines manager rescued from criminal hideout

Nawada, May 02 (UNI) Police today made a major breakthrough rescuing an abducted manager of 'Panama mines' from a criminals' hideout in Bihar's Nawada district.

Acting on a tip off, a team of armed securitymen raided the hideout near the Shiva peak and rescued Ashutosh Kumar unharmed.

The police also recovered a countrymade revolver and many live cartridges from the spot, though none of the abductors was arrested.

Mr Kumar was kidnapped on April 26 from Panama mines under Rajouli police station area by some unidentified criminals.
