Youth convicted for circulating fake notes

Akola, May 1 (UNI) A local court here has sentenced a youth to three years imprisonment holding him guilty in a fake currency case.

Additional sessions judge P R Bajaj also imposed a fine of Rs 1000 on Rajesh Solankhe.

The youth was arrested on June 9, 2005 from Akot taluka in this district and the police had seized nine fake currency notes of Rs 50 denomination each from him.
