vendors rounded up for selling spurious liquor

Fatehabad, May 1 (UNI) Police here rounded up some liquor vend owners after reports of supply of spurious liquor here supplied by a fake liquor manufacturing unit recently unearthed at Sonipat.

The police would take some of these vendors to Sonipat for further investigations to ascertain their links with the fake liquor-manufacturing unit at Sonipat, which had been filling bottles of spurious liquor by the name of a top country made liquor of Haryana, SP Saurabh Singh said here today.

The owner of the Sonipat-based fake unit, during police investigtion, had revealed the names of liquor vendors to whom he had supplied the spurious liquor, many of whom belonged to this district.
