Two arrested under Arms Act

Ahmedabad, May 1 (UNI) Two persons were arrested under the Arms Act from Chanakyapuri railway crossing after three 12 bore rifles, a double barrel gun and five live cartridges, worth Rs 62,175, were recovered from them today.

The police arrested Harwendrasingh Amarsingh Chauhan and Satyapalsingh Prahaladsingh Chauhan for possessing arms on the basis of forged licences.

Four others-Raghvendrasingh Amarsingh Chauhan, Bimalsingh Chauhan, Vinod Yadav and Narendrasingh Chauhan-have been arrested for providing forged licences to the accused.
