Nagaland: Rio receives Mother Teresa award

Kohima, May 1: Nagaland Chief Minister Neiphiu Rio has been conferred with the Mother Teresa Millennium Award for his outstanding contributions in the field of politics.

The award has been instituted by the Mother Teresa International and Millennium Committee.

The other recipients of the award included Nepal Prime Minister Girija Prasad Koirala, writer Dominique Lapierre, Saurav Ganguly, P K Banerjee, according to a communique today.
