President to visit UP tomorrow

Lucknow, May 1 (UNI) President A P J Abdul Kalam would visit Kushinagar and Pratapgarh districts during his one-day Uttar Pradesh trip tomorrow.

Official sources here today said Dr Kalam would join the 2551st Jayanti celebrations of Lord Buddha at 1100 hrs in Kushinagar's Lilavati stadium. As, a chief guest, he would also address the monks gathered in the celebration ceremony.

The President will also inaugrate a Thai hospital and make a visit to 'Ramabhar Stupa.' He would also go 'Parinirvaan Mandir', to release 'Vhoti Hindi' dictionary.

Later, the President will visit Pratapgarh to take a haul of 'Awala Orchid and inspect Integerated Agricultural Production in Sarai Sultani of the district.

The President is also expected to address farmers in Pratapgarh.
