Para military jawan killed in accident

Kaushambi, May 1 (UNI) A para military jawan died and two others sustained injuries in an accident here today.

Police said the victims were going for security duty at the election meeting of Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister and ruling Samajwadi Party chief Mulayam Singh Yadav in Manjhanpur area.

The accident occurred near Tikri village, where the jeep carrying the jawans overturned, killing Indrajeet Kushwaha on the spot.

Two others, including platoon commander Ativ Kumar Pandey, sustained injuries and were admitted to hospital.
