Olmert's deputy tells aides he should quit- TV

JERUSALEM, May 1 (Reuters) Israeli Foreign Minister and Deputy Prime Minister Tzipi Livni told aides today that Prime Minister Ehud Olmert should quit over a scathing report on the Lebanon war, two Israeli television networks reported.

''Olmert must go,'' Channel 10 quoted Livni as telling associates, making her the most senior member of Olmert's government to call for his ouster. Another station, Channel 2, said Livni, widely seen as a frontrunner to succeed Olmert, was seeking a replacement for him.
