Nine Bangladesh nationals arrested
Jammu, May 1 (UNI) The Army today arrested nine Bangladesh nationals, who had allegedly reached Jammu to make an exfiltration bid from the International Border, official sources said.
They said on specific information, the Army team from Ratnochak camp raided a house in Bari Brahmna on the city outskirts this afternoon and arrested the nine Bangladeshis.
The Bangladesh nationals, mostly labourers, were taken to a police station but the police refused to take their custody, the sources said.
Every month, a large number of Bangla nationals are being arrested along the IB in Jammu.
''They are being brought by an agent in Punjab on the promise that they will be taken to Pakistan,'' police sources said.
