MRCC proposes to raise workforce to 1000 by next year

Thane, May 1 (UNI) US-based M&R Consultants Corporation (MRCC), which commenced operations here three years back, proposes to raise its workforce to around 1000, from the present 600, by next year and has assured that locals would be accorded preference.

M&R Consultants director Anil R Shah, speaking to reporters, said that Thane has the best of Software engineers and ''our priority will be to give jobs to 90 per cent locals''.

The Company, founded in 1996, provides business solutions to major global companies and has business partnership with major players like HP, IBM, Microsoft, SUN, and Symantec. Its current business is pegged at USD 10 million. It has a GSA contract to directly work with US federal government without any bidding process.
