May Day observed in Manipur

Imphal, May 1 (UNI) May Day was observed today in Manipur through a number of functions.

The All Manipur Working Journalists Union and the All India Trade Union Congress observed the day at the Manipur Press Club and at Gandhi Memorial Hall respectively.

Speakers addressed the need of protecting the rights of the working class during both the functions.

Other labour unions also observed the day at different functions.
