May Day observed in Delhi

New Delhi, May 1 (UNI) Activists of the Indian Federation of Trade Unions (IFTU) and the Hind Mazdoor held a march here today to observe Labour day and demanded the UPA Government withdraw its anti-labour policies.

The march, which commenced from Ram Lila Ground, ended at Jantar Mantar.

The activists demanded repeal of SEZ Act 2005, to control inflation and rising unemployment, enforce labour laws properly and regularisation of all contractual labour.
