Head Constable kills son in MP

Jabalpur, May 1 (UNI) A Head Constable killed his elder son here as an offshoot of the former's illicit relations with his daughters-in-law, police said.

The accused Kanchedilal Thakur was posted in the Civil Lines Police Station and resided in the police quarters along with his family comprising his wife, sons Brijesh (32) and Ramratan (29) both of whom were married.

On April 23, Ramratan's wife Manisha was harassed. She complained to her husband and a dispute took place in the house. Brijesh alleged that Kanchedilal ''misbehaved'' with his daughters-in-law.

The Head Constable stabbed Brijesh late last night while the latter was asleep. Kanchedilal has been arrested.
