Gen. stresses need of meditation in security forces

Kohima, May 1 (UNI) Maj. Gen. K. S. Sethi, Inspector General of Assam Rifles (North), today said meditation was the only answer to remove stress among the security personnel.

Addressing a workshop on on "Self-empowerment and De-addiction", organized by the IGAR and Brahma Kumari Academy, Mount Abu, Rajasthan, at the 26th Assam Rifles campus here Gen. Sethi said as the life became faster, problems also plumated hence stress was eating the people in every walks of life.

The General declared that he will establish a meditation centre in the Assam Rifles in Kohima to reform some of its personnel, who take the shelter of alcohol or other wrong things to get relief from tension.
