Farooq predicts fall of coalition after UP election
Jammu, May 1 (UNI) Former Jammu and Kashmir Chief Minister Farooq Abdullah today said the ruling Congress-PDP coalition in the state would ''collapse any time after the declaration of Uttar Pradesh assembly election results''.
Talking to mediapersons at a function here, the National Conference patron said infighting within the state coalition partners had made the government defunct.
''Given this situation, there is every likelihood that the coalition will not survive the internal tug of war any longer.
Instead of solving issues of public importance, the coalition partners are keeping themselves busy in public rallies.'' he said.
