Fake encounter: Remand of 3 IPS officers extended

Ahmedabad, May 1: The police remand of former Anti-Terrorist Squad chief D G Vanzara, Rajkumar Pandyan and Dinesh Kumar, arrested in connection with the fake encounter death of Sohrabuddin Sheikh in November 2005, has been extended till May 5.

The court of Chief Metropolitan Magistrate K J Upadhyay extended the police custody till May 5 on the application of the prosecution.
