Dinesh Chandra Garg is new CMD, WCL

Nagpur, May 1 (UNI) Dinesh Chandra Garg took over as Chairman-cum-Managing Director of public sector coal company Western Coalfields Ltd (WCL) here today.

Mr Garg replaced G S Chugh, who retired on superannuation yesterday, a WCL statement said.

Prior to his present assignment, Mr Garg was Director (Personnel) in Bharat Coking Coal Ltd (BCCL), Dhanbad. Before that, he was General Manager (Personnel and Welfare) at WCL.

With a Master's degree in geology, Mr Garg has vast experience of over three decades of service in different capacities in WCL and Northern Coalfields Ltd (NCL), Singrauli, it added.
