Mangalore, May 1 (UNI) Former Prime Minister and Janata Dal(Secular) Supremo H D Deve Gowda today criticised Karnataka Deputy Chief Minister B S Yadiyurappa for going against 'Rajadharma'.

Mr Gowda vehemently criticised the functioning of Mr Yediyurappa, who also hold the Finance portfolio and said that '' he (Mr Yediyurappa) has not matured enough to function in a Coalition government. He should learn from his national leaders like former Prime Minister A B Vajpayee how to behave in a coalition set up''.

Mr Gowda alleged that there was serious dissatisfaction among the party cadre as the BJP leader has ditched them in local appointments such as in the schemes in those districts where the BJP was strong.

The former Prime Minister cautioned Mr Yadiyurappa that he should understand that it was easier to be in power than facing wrath of the party workers.

Commending the efforts made by his son and state Chief Minister he said H D Kumaraswarmy was receiving thousands of applications during the Janata Darshan and Mr Yadiyurappa should make it public as to how many applications have been received by his party Ministers.

Criticising the announcement of donation made by Mr Yadiyurappa while participating at the Cow Conference, which concluded yesterday at Hosanagar in Shimoga District, he questions Mr Yadiyurappa move as the Finance Minister of a state, to donate public money to a religious institution. As an individual or as a devotee, he could make any donation to any institution but not the public money, Mr Gowda alleged.

Quoting the statement of former Union Minister and senior BJP national leader Jaswant Singh questioning the announcement of Rs 100 crore donation made by Prime Minister Manmohan Singh to the Rajiv Gandhi Foundation, Mr Gowda said that Mr Yadiyurappa should have read the remark made by his party leader before making such donation.

Referring to the criticism from different political leaders defining his statement in different ways, Mr Gowda remarked that there was no need to give any special meaning to such criticisms.
