Curfew clamped in AP town
Anantapur, Andhra Pradesh Apr 30 (UNI) The district police today imposed curfew in Kadiri town following the clashes between two sections of the people.
Police said a section of group attacked another group of people for allegedly eve-teasing a girl. The two section of the people staged dharna before the office of the Distrit Superintendent of police.
In the melee, both the warring groups reined in blows.
Following the disruption of law and order situation the police opened fire in the air and dispersed the mob.
Curfew was imposed in the town to prevent any untoward incident, police added.
