Communal clash in MP village
Sehore, MP, May 1 (UNI) About a dozen people were slightly injured by stone-pelting and three kuccha houses torched today in this district's Barchhapura village where two communities clashed following slogan-shouting.
''A police force has been deployed at the village with a population of roughly 1,500. An Additional Superintendent of Police and other administrative officials were rushed there. The situation is under control,'' said Superintendent of Police Rajendra Prasad.
Neighbouring Rajgarh district-resident godman Tarun Murari Bapu was heading a procession to Kurli village. While the procession was passing Barchhapura, slogans annoyed members of another community. A case was registered against the monk and several others.
