Bihar govt to launch mission gardening, 2007
Patna, May 1 (UNI) In a bid to make the 'National Gardening Mission, 2007' a success in Bihar, the state government will launch a three-day gardening campaign at every Block headquarters from tomorrow.
Official sources here today said the government will adopt the mission from this rainy season and necessary instructions were issued to the block administration to raise awareness among farmers.
The sources said plantation of fruits like mango, litchi, guava, fig, pineapple, makhana along with tissue culture would be promoted under the scheme for which the farmers would be given special training.
The farmers attending the workshop would have to register themselves, sources added.
