Bihar govt committed to improving education:Minister
Darbhanga, May 1 (UNI) Bihar Science and Technology Minister Anil Kumar today said the government was committed to improving the quality of education to prevent migration of students from the state.
Speaking to newsmen after inspecting the ongoing work at the Womens Engineering college, he said the state government was negotiating with a number of private sector units to provide better educational infrastructure.
Work at five engineering colleges in the state was nearing completion, while it was about to start at Jagannath Mishra Institute of Technology in Darbhanga, he informed.
Mr Kumar said the NDA government would soon allot free land to private investors for opening a deemed university and several engineering colleges in the state.
