Bharti partners Vodafone, offers telecom services in Channel Islands

New Delhi, May 1 (UNI) Bharti Enterprises today said it has entered into an agreement with Vodafone to bring a range of Vodafone global products together with other services from Bharti to customers in Jersey and Guernsey under the brand name of 'Airtel-Vodafone'.

''We are happy to partner Vodafone to offer services tailored to the needs of customers in this region,'' Bharti Enterprises Chairman and Group CEO Sunil Bharti Mittal said here.

Airtel will bring a range of Vodafone services, tailored to the needs of customers in these Channel Islands of Europe.

These will include Vodafone Passport, a simple roaming price plan; Vodafone Simply, a straightforward voice and data package; Vodafone Mobile Connect Card for laptops, all brought to customers by Airtel.

Also on offer will be a range of services for business customers, a statement said.

Last year, Bharti was granted licenses to operate 2G and 3G mobile services in this two countries.

Bharti has already been offering comprehensive telecom services in Seychelles, through its subsidiary Telecom Seychelles.
