Apollo Tyres Q4 net zooms 61.9pc at Rs 42.71cr

New Delhi, May 1 (UNI) Apollo Tyres Ltd jumped 61.9 per cent in its net profit at Rs 42.71 crore for the quarter ended March 31, 2007, as compared to Rs 26.38 crore in the corresponding period last year.

The company's total income has increased to 22.33 per cent at Rs 912.79 crore for the quarter ended March 31, 2007 from Rs 746.17 crore over the same period last year.

The company's net profit rose by 45.11 per cent at Rs 113.42 crore for the year ended March 31, 2007, as against Rs 78.16 crore last year.

Total income has increased to 25.45 per cent to Rs 3295.2 crore for the year ended March 31, 2007 from Rs 2626.7 crore last year.
