AI Cargo's first freighter Airbus A310 arrives in Mumbai
Mumbai, May 1 (UNI) Air India Cargo's first freighter Airbus A310 today arrived in Mumbai.
This aircraft was initially acquired by Air India in 1990 for passenger operations.
Air India will be starting dedicated cargo operations from June onwards. It will convert six Airbus A-310 aircraft into freighters at an estimated cost of 6 million dollars each and plans to dedicate the remaining fleet of A310 aircraft to cargo freighters in the next three years, a statement said here.
